Someday, I will post more than memes. That day is not today.

First, Character Meme, late and stolen from... uh. Everyone.

Name me a character! I will tell you:

* How I FEEEEEL about this character
* All the people I ship romantically with this character
* My non-romantic OTP for this character
* My unpopular opinion about this character
* One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Second, Pairing Meme, from I forget where:

Ask me about a pairing (or character) I have written (or haven't and you think I should write) and I will give you five facts about them or a ficlet or a song that is CLEARLY THEIR SONG or what they order from the Chinese place down the street, etc, etc.

And last, but not least... Questions Meme!

Ask me anything about myself that you'd like to know!

I'm gonna be completely not surprising at all..

1: Dormagus

2: Dormagus/Reilly

3: First comic book.

answering with the rp journal BECAUSE I CAN

How I FEEEEEL about this character

I heart him. I love that he is a giant fanboy, I like the tension with him and Strange, I like his gigantic ego. I even like his ridiculous hair.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

- Reilly, duh.
- Casey. I like to imagine they had a relationship, it fell apart, and they remain snarky friends to this day. With maybe a smidgen of tension.
- Inappropriate crush on Wanda. I blame you.
- Billy. In part because of the above, but mostly because I think they'd be fun.
- May. It starts as a way to horrify Reilly but he eventually develops feelings for her.
- Eternal "man crush" on Franklin. THAT IS VERY HETEROSEXUAL, THANK YOU, EVEN IF HE IS A VERY PRETTY MAN.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Dormagus/Zane, bros for life. The ship is cute, too, but what I really want is them running around having magic adventures. With Dormagus occasionally attempting to be mentor-y and failing miserably.

I... also like to think he is totally secret buds with Wes. And they angst about their spider-crushes together.

My unpopular opinion about this character

Is there even enough of a fandom for there to be unpopular opinions... UH. I would say "I think a lot of I'M THE BEST SORCERER SUPREME EVER EVER EVER" act is masking a lot of insecurity, and not that well, but that... seems to be a common interpretation in the very little fic I've found. So. Um. I DON'T KNOW.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

BROMANCE WITH DARKDEVIL. It seemed like DeFalco was totally setting one up, between the banteriffic team up and tease that Dormagus was on the verge of figuring out Reilly's ~big secret~ and it... never happened. Sure, yeah, I also ship it. But I really wanted them to become snarky fight buddies. Actually, I just kind of assume that happened anyway, behind the scenes.

also a miniseries. So. Bad. I think he was one of the MC2 characters with the most potential to develop a cult following, the way May did (and Shannon kind of).

Five Facts about Dormagus/Reilly

1. They spending years switching back and forth between being best friends and being boyfriends. They grow apart, they date other people, yet they keep winding up together. It's a little like Peter and MJ, back in the day. Except, you know, gay.

2. They have more in common than they'd like to admit: dad issues, inferiority complexes, straddling the line between human and not, and burdened with powers they're not sure they can understand or control. Also, nerds.

3. Despite what everyone assumes, it's actually Dormagus who becomes a holy terror if you harm his boyfriend. Not that Reilly ever takes it well, but. Yeah.

4. Their first kiss was a fake out make out gone horribly wrong/right.

5. May ships it like FedEx.

It's been so long that I'm not entirely sure, but I think it was an issue of ElfQuest. I don't really remember what it was about except that it starred the chief's daughter and I thought she was awesome.

Or an issue of the Clone Saga. Possibly something from Planet of the Symbiotes.

LUNA FOR EVERYTHING.

luna/harry for the pairing.

How I FEEEEEL about this character

I adore her. ♥ Always have because, well, LUNA. My love grew over time, though! She made me lol and crey in OoTP and HBP but it wasn't until DH that I fell head over heels. Her quiet determination in the face of torture and battles and despair just made me hearteye her forever. I'd always suspected that a secret badass lurked under there but, oh, Luna.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

In order kind of maybe.

1. Luna/Gryffindor House. ALL OF THEM. But Luna/Weasleys is quickly becoming a contender.
2. GINNY/LUNA. NEVILLE/LUNA. A Ginny/Luna/Neville is fine too.
3. Hermione and Ron. P-probably not at the same time, though.
4. Fred (IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT) and George (except when the Angelina bashing gets to be too much and I start shipping Luna/Angelina out of spite)
5. Harry.
6. Tonks kind of when she's older.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Luna/Harry, actually! I think the ship's adorable but I find their friendship so ridiculously touching. I just want to read fics where they bond over being outsiders and troll people at parties and maybe they have a falling out for a while, because they're both in love with Ginny, but it's cool because ultimately if Luna/Harry is happy then Harry/Luna is happy and asdffghlkj BROS FOR LIFE

after DH i also kind of like the idea of Dumbledore eternally sadfacing in Luna's direction because she reminds him of Ariana before things went bad

ohohohohohoh and, of course, Xeno and Luna

My unpopular opinion about this character

FUCK THE HATERS, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT LUNA'S EPILOGUE LIFE. EVEN ROLF.

(Mostly because I imagine their relationship is allll about Luna dragging some poor Hermione-esque smitten boy off for ADVENTURE!!!)

Other than that... ugh, go away, Eternally Pining Luna. If whoever she loved died or fell for someone else, yes, she would be sad. And, sure, they would probably always have a place in heart. But she would move on (if they died)! She'd be happy for them (if they found someone else)! Not spending ages doing a bad imitation of Bella Swan in New Moon.

also, the Saint!Luna meme bugs. I adore her and, yes, ~girl you're amazing just the way you arrrreeeee~... but she's not flawless.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Visiting the Burrow. I always thought it was a little strange, in retrospect, that she hadn't been there earlier. I mean. Come on. Poor little motherless neighbor girl? MOLLY WOULD'VE BEEN SMOTHERING HER SO HARD. And Luna would just keep breaking her heart, every year, because she'd rather look at Muggle things with Arthur and watch Ginny play Quidditch.

i like these things and wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

♥ aw, thank you, baby.

(The other reason I ship Luna/Weasleys: Molly's creys of joy when she FINALLY gets that Lovegood girl to be part of the family. OH, HER CREYS.)

Five Random Facts about Harry/Luna

1. They spend several long nights talking, and sometimes crying, over Ginny. When he finally figures it out - that they'd both been in love with the same girl - he doesn't feel jealous, like he thought he would. Just glad they don't have to go through this alone.

2. He only meant to wipe the paint off her nose, not snog her. Really. At least, that's what he told everyone else.

3. They never learn how to dance. He just learns how to go along for the ride.

4. She doesn't hear him the first time he asks her, still proudly babbling about proving the existence of Nargles (she knew it), and is quite convinced it's all a joke until she sees the ring.

5. His arms get sore the first time they visit Muggle London. He has to keep pulling her back to reality, make her stop staring at everything, eyes wide and wondrous. Even when they're old and gray.

Very intereresting reading. thx
