First things first: I'm thinking of starting an Animorphs Dressing Room Game. Would anyone be interested in joining? If I did it, should I do it on LJ or Insane Journal? (If you don't know what a Dressing Room Game is, it's just a place for any kind of characters from a fandom to interact - without having to apply or do drama.)

No, two Pop Tarts is not enough to keep an energy drink from going straight through you... and those warnings on the can are there for a reason.

I'm fine now, so nobody panic, but yesterday I had some wicked chest pains. I almost started crying during Law class, to give an idea of how bad they were. Then I thought I was going to pass out on the way to the cafeteria after Law. Luckily, I didn't, and I felt much better after I had some lunch - but to cut a long story short, I won't be having energy drinks for a while.

On a related note, thanks to the Marvel Crack Pairing Generator, I want to write something about Ben Reilly and Chase. Thanks, Crack Generator. That would be the best idea ever if I could figure out a way to make a dead Spider-Man come back and slap some sense into a punk from L.A.

So, instead of doing my homework like a responsible adult (it's due today, for crying out loud, and don't admonish me, I'm already doing that myself), I started reading Animorphs #50 so I could get some information on the Auxiliary Animorphs for the Wikipedia article and Animorphs Wiki.

James is even cooler than I remember, for the record, but that's not the part that's freaking me out.

I have plans to also play as RPG Timmy/Tuan (the kid with the speech impediment) when/if this subplot I have planned for the Anomalies RPG ever pans out. Why? Well, I thought it'd be really interesting to play as someone who has a different handicap than my own. Plus, I had some neat ideas about how Tuan/Timmy would communicate since he has problems with speech.

But then I'm re-reading the book and I notice two lines that completely escaped my attention before: "I thought he had cerebral palsy" and "he awkwardly patted her [Collette, I think] with a palsied hand".

I was attracted to the CP character without even realizing it. How's that for freaky? Apparently, I have Palsydar. It would still be an interesting RP experience for me, though, because Tuan/Timmy's condition is so different from my own even though we have the same disability.

And while I'm talking about Animorphs, here's something that I've never been able to figure out, concerning Ax's human morph: I think it changes, at least a little, every time he morphs. I think Marco says something about it one of the earlier books. Either that or he said Ax's human morph looks different every time you look at it. (Which is even weirder.) But I don't really remember this being brought up in other books...did I hallucinate it? Was it a KASU? Am I mixing up fanfic with the books again?

Also, do we know who Ax's human morph most resembles? I've always wondered about that. Even though the idea freaks me out, shipping what I ship, I've always thought the morph would most resemble Marco, if only because Marco and the morph are of mixed race. Wow, that would make sex a relationship pretty weird. Then again, Marco is kind of a narcissist, so maybe it wouldn't be much of a problem.

EDIT: Can anyone think of an young Asian actor/singer/person/whatever I could use for a Tuan/Timmy journal? Um, someone who isn't a J-Pop star, that is?

News on the Animorphs RPG...it should be finished and taking applications sometime today or tomorrow. I'll be busy on Friday, so I may not be able to respond to applications and assign characters until this weekend, but yeah...them there's the stats.

Oh! And I joined a community for, well, possibly the geekiest reason I could've joined a community for. I'm getting nostalgic for my Mary-Sue. Okay, more for the community that spawned said Sue, but I also miss the Sue. Is there some way I can blame this on hormones?

For the record, the RPG is about 85% off the ground. I just need to finish Visser Three and Taylor journals, then the main journal for the RPG, and start advertising.

Also, I added some more Jake-ish and Ax-ish icons to the Jake and Ax journals. (Particularly fond of the Paranoid!Jake, the ShirtMunching!Ax and FunnyFaces!Ax, because OMGSOCANON.)

Oh yeah, all those things I said about going to bed soon? Silly you for believing them. Silly me, too. Should've known I couldn't keep a regular sleep schedule for a whole week. That's madness!

So, yeah, I think I'm halfway to starting an Animorphs RPG. I am the biggest loser ever.

But, shock, gasp, surprise! If I do play, I'm not playing as Ax. I already claimed one of the journals I've made, but it is not Ax-Man's. I'm not telling whose it is, though.
The only problem is figuring out what to call the game. Anomalies was already taken. (maybe _anomalies_ isn't?) Oh, okay, there's also the problem of getting people who'd be willing to play, but I'll handle one problem at a time.

Well, I was over at GreatestJournal.com seeing if I could maybe find some new Animorphs fic or something to put up on the sites (yes, I'm a loser, I know) and I ran across this rather interesting tidbit on an Ani-RPG community on their userinfo page...

This following bit came from a guide on the things you had to describe about your character before you joined...

Aspirations and Goals: What is your character working towards? What do you hope to get into? Some gayness? Some hetero love love triangles of doom? Want your Marco to shack up with Aximili? WE LIKE THE GAY???

...I swear to god, it's like they're begging me to join. XD

Sad thing is, I'd do it too, if I was any good at RPG-ing, if only as an excuse to write slash. I'm such a sad little fangirl. (And there's still nobodying applying to play as any of the actual Animorphs!)
